The triple maturation process for this limited-edition single malt whisky begins with our classic maturation in ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to quarter casks. The spirit then goes into Pedro Ximenez casks—more specifically, sherry hogsheads. After extraction, the whisky is filtered and bottled at natural cask strength, creating an experience akin to tasting whisky at its source. Our renowned aromas of peat smoke and seaweed are joined by sweet notes of manuka honey and oak spice. The finish is long, warm and fascinating — much like conversations between friends over a sip of Laphroaig®.
