Cambus 36 Year Old
The Cambus distillery was shuttered in 1993 and later closed. Sad, too, given the spirit they produced always seemed to have a but more weight to it, something we tend to value when it comes to Single Cask Nation bottlings. Their weightier spirit, extra matured in a PX seasoned STR cask makes for a very rich, rewarding experience.

Tasting Notes
NOSE: Leads with juicy orange gum drops and red Wine Gums, soft grain and gentle wood notes support those juicier elements, hints of cotton candy around the edges.
PALATE: The age of the spirit presents as a delightful softness (like getting a hug while wearing a cashmere sweater!) and a mature sweetness (this Cambus may just have a warm toffee for you in a purse or pocket). There’s warm apple pie, toasted hazelnuts, and freshly baked brown bread in here, too.
FINISH: Soft and warm with a lingering gentle pepperiness and echoes of the orange gum drops from the nose.
